PELARGONIUM grandiflorum Species Pelargonium. Clear white flowers with red feathered markings on top petals. As the species name suggests they are relatively large in size. Glaucous blue palmate leaves on thin but woody stems. Smooth and hairless. Plants in the wild vary from pink to white and with differing leave shapes. Our form is a neat with an upright habit and a much more rounded leaf shape to original documentation.
Glaucophyllum Group. Introduced 1794 F Masson.
The original collected species may now be lost but it played a significant part in hybridisation.
