Decorative Pelargoniums

These Pelargoniums were bred for height and for their large but tidy flower heads, combining qualities of both Regal forms and Uniques. The blooms are usually clear in colour and often bi-tone — P. ‘Vicki’ and P. ‘Gartendirektor Herman’ are classic examples. They make excellent, floriferous pot plants and are as striking as the Regals. Give Decorative types a hard cut back on a warm sunny day in September to keep them compact and to prevent soft winter growth.
