At Woottens we dispatch plants throughout the UK* all year round. Every parcel is carefully packed — using fully biodegradable materials such as cardboard, compostable bags and paper tape with natural rubber — to ensure your plants arrive safely and sustainably.

Dispatch Times

At Woottens we grow a number of speciality plants and dispatch times vary slightly throughout the year depending on weather, growth and plant type.

• Available plants are sent usually within 7–14 working days of ordering unless stated on the product pages. During busy times dispatch may take a little longer.
• Bareroot Iris are dispatched during their harvest season (late summer–autumn).
• Auriculas With such high demand for these plants they sell out quickly. To be kept up to date of each release please subscribe to our newsletter.
• Pelargoniums are sent all year, including the winter months. However, we will delay postage if temperatures are too cold to post safely. Some Pelargoniums are available for Pre-order and they will have an estimated dispatch month.

If your order includes plants with different dispatch times (plants available now & pre-order plants) the system will charge you additional postage and you will receive your order in batches.  If you would rather wait until everything is ready to send together then email the nursery and we will assist.

Delivery Services

We use Royal Mail and DPD depending on parcel size and destination.

• Royal Mail Tracked 24.
• DPD Next Day.

Once your parcel has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email.

Unfortunately, since Brexit, shipping to Northern Ireland and the rest of Europe has become far more complicated and costly. We’re working to resolve this and hope to resume European deliveries in the near future.
