The blackest of all the Iris in the 'Sibirica Group' Deepest indigo flowers, with elegant gold markings. Flowering in June/July. Ht. 50cm. Sp. 30cm. Moist soil. Sun or part shade.
Native to China and Burma - Iris chrysographes happily grows in meadows, along river banks and forest margins. Favouring a damp soil and part shade.
