The Plant list

Common Name

PELARGONIUM cucullatum Flore Pleno

Species Hybrid Pelargonium. Large round cupped leaved with a downy touch. Deep magenta double flowers.

The form we grow would be of the origin; P. cucullatum subsp. tabulare Flore Pleno. It is soft round leaves rather than the angular type displayed by the P. cucullatum subsp.
P. cucullatum subsp. tabulare is a likely parent of some of the early unique forms including P. Purple Unique
P. cucullatum subsp. are believed to have been the parents of the Regal hybrids – known early on as P. x domesticum
