How to order and collect from Woottens

Whether you’re a local customer or just in Suffolk for a holiday you can still buy plants from our new location by pre ordering on the website or over the phone. Simply choose the plants you’d like to order then at the checkout select ‘Collect from Woottens Nursery’ – there is no charge for this service.

You can also always give us a call on 01502 478258 to order plants or ask advice about plants suitable for you.  Once ordered we will then pull your plant selection together for you and have the plants ready for you to collect.

Collection Times

Pre ordered collections can be picked up ANY DAY by appointment except SUNDAY. You can specify which date you would like to collect in the ‘order notes’ box at the checkout and
wait to be contacted for confirmation that your request day is available. Collections are available Mon-Sat please allow 5 working days for us to pick and prepare your order. If you need to change the date that’s not a problem, just contact us either via phone or email. Due to the commitments of the nursery we are unable to offer an ‘as and when’ collection service.

When ordering please remember for normal potted herbaceous stock we require 5 working days notice to put your order together. For bareroot items that require lifting such as Irises and Hemerocallis we require 10 working days notice.

Access to the new location

The address for this new location is –
Woottens of Wenhaston LTD. ‘The Iris Field’. Hall Road. Wenhaston. IP19 9HF. Please be aware that this address is very new and may not be on ‘sat navs’. Our closest point of reference would be ‘The Wenhaston Star’ public house just down the road.

On our collection days the nursery gates will be open for customers to drive in and park on the concrete area just inside the gate. few There is a small garden shed adorned with our notourious bell from the nursery – simply ring this and someone will be able to show you to your collection.

Payment of collections

All collections must be paid for either online or with card details over the phone – at the new site we are unable to take card terminal payments. In the same way as before we don’t process the payment until you have collected your plants to ensure that you are happy with our selection.

Bearded Iris Collections

If you have ordered bearded Irises for collection we are opening our new location between 8th August-14th August for you to collect from us. Everyday between 9am-4pm. If you are unable to collect in this time frame do let us know and we can arrange to lift you Irises for another date.
