We dispatch plants throughout the UK all year round using both Royal Mail and DPD Courier Service

These time frames are liable to change depending upon the weather and the growth rate of the plants. Some plants are specifically delayed throughout the year. Please check within each plant product description thoroughly before ordering for any changes to the dispatch times. Updates or changes will be added to this page on a regular basis.
General orders are running on time – 5-7 working days for potted stock and 7-10 working days for bareroot stocks.
Carriage charges are calculated at the checkout once your postcode has been entered but before you commit to pay.

Please note carriage rates are set based upon the charges from our couriers and the cost of packaging materials only.
Royal Mail Service: Small orders under 2kg are dispatched via Royal Mail First Class.
This is not a signed for service and no tracking is available
DPD Courier Service: Orders over 2kg are dispatched via courier on a next day service.
You will receive tracking information from DPD on the email and/or mobile phone number given when you order. Track your order using the DPD tracking service Track My Order you will need your tracking number emailed to you.
You can choose to collect your order from the nursery by simply selecting ‘Collect from Nursery’ at the checkout. Once the order has been placed, we will contact you to arrange a collection day.
Please do not turn up at the nursery to collect your order until you have been contacted.
Collections can be made Monday-Saturday and usually within 5 working days of the order being placed. Please see above for exceptions until the heading ‘Mail Order Service’
Our packaging is 100% compostable. We use corn starch packing chips to fill the box and support the plants or corrugated card. Along with corn starch bags to line the box if the plants are damp. If you order plants that are usually dispatched at different times of the year, we may contact you to discuss splitting your order. This may incur additional postal charges; however we will attempt to keep costs at a minimum for customers.
If you place multiple orders and they have yet to be dispatched we may be able to combine them for you. Which saves costs and helps our carbon footprint. If you wish to combine orders simply add to the ‘order notes’ box at the checkout – ‘please combine my orders’. If we are able to we will send the orders all together and refund you back any additional postage paid for. Please note you can only combine orders going to the same address at the same time of year.
If you’re not happy with any part of the order or service do contact us within 36 hours of the plant delivery. We may ask for photographs if the delivery is damaged, these can be emailed to info@woottensplants.co.uk we will endeavour to resolve any problems to the best of our ability.
We no longer dispatch to Europe or Northern Ireland due to the costs of certification and customs since Brexit. We sincerely apologise to customers that we, as a small business, are unable to offer this service.
