Hemerocallis as a rule are easy plants, that are untroubled by pest and disease. One pest that can cause trouble for large scale growing is the gall midge (read more here), however later flowering forms miss the season of the gall midge and can bloom well into August and September. Lengthening the season in the garden and making wonderful companion plants for Aconitum, Dahlia and Salvias.
