Q: When will my order arrive?

A: Potted stock should arrive within 4 working days. Bareroot items within 10 working days. There are some exceptions – if you need your plants urgently we recommend emailing the nursery on

Q: Are you open to the public?

A: We are no longer open 7 days a week to the public. We hold regular open days throughout the year – click here to find out when the next open day is

Q: Can we collect from the nursery?

A: Yes you can collect from us. Simply order online or over the phone. Please allow 4 working days notice for collections of potted stock or 10 working days for bareroot stock. Our collection days are:

Wednesdays 9am-4pm
Saturdays – 9am-12noon
Or you can collect during one of our open days

Q: My order says it’s been ‘completed’ but I haven’t received it?

A: When an order on your account states ‘completed’ it means the online order process has been completed not the order itself.
At this point we have received your order and we’reworking on gathering the plants ready for dispatch.
Unfortunately the terminology on our shopping cart is a set design and cannot be changed

Q: My payment won’t go through on an order I’ve placed

A: Not to worry, quite often the order will come through to us with a ‘failed payment’ when this happens we’ll contact you as soon as possible usually via email to let you know. This is often nothing to do with your card, sometimes a slow internet connection can cause the payment page to time out and decline payments. If you’re concerned about the order do ring or email us

Q: What if I’m not in when my order arrives?

A: Our courier DPD has a very efficient tracking system for deliveries. You’ll receive email confirmation on the day we pack your order to let you know it’s due. On the day of delivery you’ll then receive an email and/or text with a hours delivery window for your delivery. This email usually arrives before 9am in the morning. You can on either of these emails use the links to choose to have your order ‘left in a safe place’ if you won’t be in to sign for the order.
Please note due to security we CANNOT guarantee that a driver will leave your order if you have not chosen this option on the DPD email.

Q: Can I change my delivery day
