The Self group are immaculate examples of the ‘true Auricula’. They have petals of just one clear colour from scarlet red to vibrant yellow and everything in between. The central eye is pure white and thick with farina, some even have the farina on the leaves giving them a silver powdery appearance. The flowers can be easily damaged by rainfall and should be kept in show pots away from the elements
