The Fancy group is technically the home of the beautiful rejects and mutations of auricula breeding. If you were to breed an auricula that didn’t fit in with the stringent rules of the other groups, you would categorise it as a ‘fancy’. These quirky characteristics include, pointed flower petals, multiple colours, or patterns within the petals. Again, these are susceptible to harsh wet weather and should be kept as show plants
