DAHLIA Dark Desire

Description: Raised by Chris Ireland Smith, this is a plant of overwhelming beauty and grace. A chance seedling from the Bishop of Llandaff, it has the deepest, darkest, velvety red, single, narrow petaled flowers with the purest gold stamens. July-Nov. The foliage is finely cut and a darkish green. Ht. 90cm. Sp. 60cm. Sun. Moist well drained soil. Plants may be cut back for mail order
