Ordering Plants for Delivery or Collection
Four working days notice must be allowed between ordering and receiving container grown herbaceous stock.
Customers are welcome to visit the nursery at any time and pick plants from the sales areas for themselves.
Bare root Bearded Iris
Plants are only sent out between 23rd July and 30th October- seven working days warning must be allowed for lifting and splitting.
If a plant has a 2litre pot listing this can be despatched all year round within 4 working days
Bare root Hemerocallis
Plants are lifted all the year round. Seven working days must be allowed for lifting and splitting.

Snowdrops
Bulbs are only lifted and despatched in the green between February & March.
Chrysanthemums
Plants are sent out from May to July in 9cm pots. 2 litre pots are available on the nursery for collection.
Pelargoniums
Plants are sent out all year unless freezing temperatures. Certain varieties are only available from April – Nov.
When ordering please be aware that at certain times of the year it may be necessary to cut back plants in order to keep down our carriage charges for our customers.

Delivery Charges & Pot sizes
We aim to despatch the majority of our herbaceous plants in 2litre pots unless otherwise stated.
These sizes are only a guide and larger or smaller plants may be sent out from time to time.

We use a 24 hour trackable courier service on all orders over 2kg. This is a signature optional service.
Majority of orders less than 2kg will be sent via First Class Royal Mail.

Please note each plant is assigned on our system a notional weight, which, may on occasion, not be the same weight as the actual weight of an individual specimen.
